Twenty Years Ago, it Started with an Idea
Childhood friends, Chris Grimm and Dustin Hoover, recognized an opportunity in the Annapolis area more than 20 years ago when they saw the challenges many people had trying to get their trailers to a repair shop, especially as traffic grew on the Bay Bridge during peak summer boating season. This was the start of Legendary Trailer Repairs and its premium mobile service.
Today, Legendary Trailer Repairs (LTR) specializes in repairing and maintaining brakes, bearings, lights, wiring, axels, suspensions, and much more, on trailers hauling boats, horses, lawn and landscaping equipment, as well as utility and camping trailers. LTR is a Maryland State Inspection Facility for Class T trailers and continues to service customers through its premium mobile service for those who can’t transport their trailer to the full-service LTR shop in Glen Burnie, Maryland in Anne Arundel County.
LTR is locally owned and operated, licensed and insured in the State of Maryland.

His favorite part about working at Legendary Trailer Repairs…
“My favorite part about LTR is the ability to meet new people and teach them the ins and outs of having a safe trailer. Most people don’t think twice about trailer maintenance - it’s always an afterthought. I don’t want anyone stranded on the side of the road with a broken trailer - that’s why I enjoy helping them so much.”
